These SOR and UFLI-aligned Phonics long vowel words with CVCe and CCVCe reading fluency pyramid sentence activities will keep your students practicing their reading fluency, including blending and decoding skills, all year long. Some challenging words are marked with * for differentiated practice.

Included:
Words with a_e, e_e, i_e, o_e, and u_e

Each fluency card is marked with unit number and phonics skill for easy organization and application.

TIP: Print on different colored paper to differentiate skills and/or units. Use heavy paper and laminate for durability.

Students first decode words listed on each card. They then read each fluency pyramid part by part to build a complete sentence. Students repeat this reading 3 times to build fluency.
