These interactive Boom Cards help instruct and practice the skill sequencing three or four steps and retelling a short story in order.

Teach and practice story sequence, sequence of events, story order, and retell of short stories. Encourage students to use the words first, next, then, and last as they retell the stories in order.

Differentiate: Students choose from putting 3 pictures in order, or a 3 step sequence, and putting 4 pictures in order, or a 4-step sequence in this Flow Magic deck.

Instruct: Play whole group and discuss why events need to be in a certain order.

Practice: Students play with a partner or independently.

For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a FREE for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you’ll need a premium account.
