This FLIP Book can be used to supplement animal units, rainforest units, endangered animal units, or as part of Earth Day lessons. Students learn about the rainforest, the layers of the rainforest, and many animals of the rainforest. Rainforests are defined, 3 main layers of the rainforest are explained (canopy layer, understory layer, and forest floor) along with some of the animals that live in each layer. The last page of the FLIP Book highlights some endangered animals found in rainforests around the world. This flip book is simple to color, cut, and paste together. It can be used as part of an interactive notebook as well. All directions are included.
