Description

These Science of Reading aligned Targeted Phonics CVCe Animated PowerPoints and Videos help with short vowel and long vowel discrimination and are for whole group instruction, small groups, interventions, and literacy centers. Students first say the sound of the word and then follow the animated tracking finger that helps them read each CVCe word. Use the animated PowerPoints and videos with words read aloud for students who need additional support. Use the animated PP and videos without words read aloud for students who no longer need that scaffolded support and need more independent practice. Perfect for K-1.

Please note: There are a few slides with VCe and more challenging CCVCe words included. Also, long e is not included since there are very few CVCe words with long e.
