These SOR and UFLI-aligned Phonics short vowel words with beginning and ending blends reading fluency pyramid sentence activities will keep your students practicing their reading fluency, including blending and decoding skills, all year long. Some challenging words are marked with * for differentiated practice.

TIP: Print on different colored paper to differentiate skills and/or units. Use heavy paper and laminate for durability.

Students first decode words listed on each card. They then read each fluency pyramid part by part to build a complete sentence. Students repeat this reading 3 times to build fluency.
