My Own Dictionary is a Reading and Writing resource that your students will use all year long! Included are the 1st 600 Fry sight words. Just print back to back and staple into books! Now 4 more resource pages added including Days of the Week, Months of the Year, Color Words (ready for students to color), and Transition Words! Click on the preview to see a sample of some of the pages.

Some suggestions:
• Print two sided.
• Print the cover page and back page on index or cardstock paper for sturdiness.
• Encourage your students to add their favorite words that are not included in the booklet, on the lines provided on each page throughout the year.
• Encourage your students to have their dictionaries out and ready to use as a resource as they write every day.
• As they learn their weekly sight words in reading, have them circle the words in their dictionaries during center time.

Soon your students will automatically pull their dictionaries out every time they write!
