Description

A daily dose of SOR-aligned Targeted Phonics reading fluency with short vowel fluency pyramids may be needed for those students who are struggling with their progress in reading.

Students read sentences by adding one more word with each reading. Studies have shown that repeated readings is one way to build reading fluency with students.

There are 120 fluency pyramid cards with a focus on short vowels to put on a ring and pull out for a quick 2-5 minute practice each day. Make a second ring of cards for the guided reading table. Make a 3rd set of rings for volunteers and interventionists. Perfect for K-2.
