Simple Holiday Roll and Cover Game FREEBIE

This FREE Holiday Roll and Cover game is a sample from my Math and Literacy Christmas Fun Pack.

Our 1st grade team uses this packet every year to supplement our math and literacy programs while adding some fun over the holidays!

Not only is this game a class favorite during the holidays but students want to play it throughout the month of December during math centers and even indoor recess!

Grab partners, 2 dice, 24 markers, and this board game. Students roll the dice and add the total of the two dice, then place their marker to cover that number. The first player to cover all the numbers wins!

Without realizing it, the roll and cover game helps students practice addition skills and facts to 12!

See what teachers like you are saying:

We played this game on the last day before the winter holiday break. It kept the kids engaged during the last hour of school. They were excited to show how well they knew their math facts.
